How to give back to the community during the cold winter months Solution:
Delivering the Gift of Warmth promotion was created to provide fuel donations to Greensboro residents in need. The campaign partnership included Greensboro Urban Ministry’s Heating Assistance program, WFMY-TV, Berico Fuels and their suppliers. Promotional considerations included custom TV spots, on-air interviews and the internet publicity. A Berico heating fuel truck was wrapped with special graphics to create an on-the-road billboard which also appeared in local community holiday parades. Customers were encouraged to donate through various media. The campaign donations exceeded the projected goal by 12%. |
