Public RelationsTwo Men & A Truck - Public Relations by Princeton Marketing GroupCause Marketing Public Relations Campaign

Problem:
Finding Two Men & A Truck an appropriate major sponsorship
of a Triad, North Carolina charity event.

Solution:
Paula Newland, owner of Two Men & A Truck of the Triad was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 37. After a year of chemotherapy and radiation treatments she is now free of cancer. It was therefore a natural fit to partner with “The Breast Center of Greensboro” which organizes a 5K run every year to benefit the Mammography Scholarship Fund at The Women’s Hospital. The fund provides free mammograms for women in Guilford County who are uninsured and ineligible for Medicare or Medicaid. In the past eleven years the event has raised nearly $100,000 and helped many women detect and overcome breast cancer.

Every year, Paula and her staff volunteer and support the Women’s Only 5K Walk and Run Race. Two Men & A Truck’s association with this event is very personal and also provides them with public relations exposure, generates lots of goodwill and is their way of giving back to the community.
